Clean energy and conservation

Through the ClimateSmart program, the Queensland Government is helping individuals, community groups and businesses save energy and reduce their carbon footprint.

The Queensland Government offers a range of initiatives through its Do the Bright Thing program, aiming to increase solar installations in homes and businesses across the state.  These initiatives will see solar installed on more buildings, facilities, cities and towns across Queensland.

The Office of Clean Energy is ensuring the accelerated development of renewable energy opportunities in Queensland and overseeing the integration of renewable energy, energy efficiency and demand management projects across the state.
