| Waratah Coal Corridor-Rail Project | The rail corridor will run from the proposed China First Coal Project, near Alpha in the Galilee Basin, to the Port of Abbot Point, north of Bowen. | A roughly 468 km heavy gauge standard railway line that will transport up to 40 million tonnes per annum (initially 25mtpa) of coal from the mine to the port for export. The rail system includes a marshalling and refuelling yard, passing loops and maintenance sidings.
