Coal infrastructure The department is planning for infrastructure to meet the long-term needs of Queensland’s growing coal industry.	Prescribed developments A resource project proposal can be declared a 'prescribed development'. For each prescribed development the Coordinator-General prepares an infrastructure coordination plan.
Northern Economic Triangle The department is fostering the sustainable economic growth of Mount Isa, Townsville and Bowen as a triangle of mining, mineral processing and industrial development.	Southern Moreton Bay Marine Infrastructure Master Plan When finalised, the plan will guide marine industry development in the area between the Southport Broadwater and southern Moreton Bay.
Port of Gladstone Western Basin Master Plan The plan, which will guide development in the Western Basin to 2039, informs the Coordinator-General’s evaluations of project proposals in the basin and adjoining state development area.
