Common user infrastructure

The railway and port will be designed to transport, load and ship the coal produced by the Alpha and Kevin's Corner mines but will be capable of being expanded to accommodate additional users.

The $7 billion investment in the Alpha Coal Project includes a $2.5 billion contribution towards this common user infrastructure ($1.5 billion for the rail and $1 billion for the port).
