($165.00 ea) 330.00 Media Rare / Big Day Out Hannah Jorgensen, Infrastructure Projects retained by employee Gold Coast Parklands is scheduled to close on 30 September 2013 to allow for the development of the Commonwealth Games Athletes' Village and the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct. The Government has committed to the relocation of the Gold Coast Show from Parklands to a new site at Carrara. As part of the Gold Coast Showground Project, the project team is exploring opportunities for other major events that currently use Parklands to relocate to the new Carrara site. The Big Day Out (BDO) tickets will allow a project team member to attend the BDO and observe the event, these observations will be discussed with the project team and used to inform planning for the new Showground site. Accommodating the BDO music festival at the new Carrara site will ensure that the social and economic benefits the event brings to the Gold Coast and Queensland continue.
